I am not one to write reviews, so take this into consideration when weighing this one. Well over a year ago, my HVAC system ceased functioning properly in my RAM 1500. After separate visits to 3 different RAM dealerships in the Glen Burnie, Annapolis and Bowie areas, I got my truck back in worse condition than it started. Last site wanted over $3K to fix 3 bad actuators. I bailed and it still cost over $1K and remained dysfunctional. Imagine my skepticism when a neighbor referred me to KG. I spoke to the foreman, Matt Horn, and he said to bring it right up. I night dropped the vehicle and then dealt with the service advisor Jason Phelps from that point forward. He exhibited the utmost patience working with me over the next week and half while they scheduled a teardown in order to troubleshoot. I was impressed with the unwavering confidence he had in his team to isolate and fix the issue, but remember, I had heard all this before. Not surprisingly, all of the actuators tested out fine. A faulty control module buried in the dash ended up being the root cause and it took a good while for the part to come in. Once they had it, they buttoned it all up and everything worked like new. I am over the moon with KG, their work, and their service. They did all this plus full brake service all for less than a dealer shop wanted to 'not fix' my original problem. I highly recommend KG Truck & Auto.

KG Truck & Auto were life savers for my Husband and I this week! We have a 2012 Dodge Avenger that would not start . My husband had my neighbor jump us and took it up to Firestone to replace the Battery due to it being located in the driver side wheel well. Firestone called at 6pm to inform us that not only would we need a new battery but we would also need new battery cables that would cost $900 total plus a weeks wait on the parts. Right at Christmas time that was hard to hear. We called around to local shops and KG Truck & Auto was recommended. Kelsey got us in the next day, come to find out it was a corroded cable that was easily repairable. We had our car fixed by the end of the day and it saved us hundreds of dollars. The whole shop was incredibly kind and took the time to explain all the issues we need to address and the order we need to address them in. You can really tell they care about their customer and are very honest and upfront. We are very grateful we found this shop. I would recommend KG Truck and Auto to everyone looking for a good honest mechanic.

I bought a '86 Dodge Ramcharger recently and needed some work done. I didn't know how much I needed done but I needed a place that could accommodate the size of my truck ( 7' lift with 35' tires). I found KG online and called ahead and spoke with Juanita. She was informative , friendly and helpful throughout my whole process. The tech did a thorough diag on my vehicle and Juanita gave me a detailed estimate before they started any work. I had to go back and forth due to the price of ALL the work needed and Juanita was patient and helpful. A mechanic even helped take off and put of license plates for me. I got my truck back yesterday and it rides so well. I WILL make KG Truck and Auto my place to take my truck. Only negative is their distance from my house. THANK YOU ALL AT KG!

Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful! Well, look no further. I have been dealing with KG for a few years now and I can tell you. I will never look anywhere else. These guys are truly professionals. Always honest, very responsive and professional. I mean, you would eat off the floor in the shop. I was about to leave for a vacation in my new car. I had it delivered from TX. When it arrived I noticed it didn't sound well. Someone tried to cut the catalytic converters out while it was on the trailer! I called KG, explained the situation and that I was leaving for vacation. Kelsey didn't even blink an eye. "Bring it on over, ill take care of it" And just like that I was on the road. I bought a Corvette Z06. I like to believe this is a high performance car and I wouldn't trust anyone else with it! Thanks KG and team!!!!

KG is great! Brought my lifted Jeep (installed somewhere else) in because a piece of the suspension broke. They were able to get it in within a couple of hours, identified the unknown manufacturer part and had it ordered the same day. Kelsey looked over several 2500 diesel truck that I brought to him to final find a quality truck. He is very honest and knowledgeable to these thing. After purchasing the truck I had him due a 100,000 mile service which I thought was a fair price. Two days later Stephanie followed up with me to see if everything was okay. They diagnosed what the check engine light issue was and gave me options. As always quick reliable service. While my truck was there, they checked and notified me of other items that will need attention soon. I can't highly recommended KG Truck & Auto enough. I wish I had found this shop before. The husband and wife that own the shop are very friendly and know what they are doing. I have a 1994 GMC Workhorse W4 and it has issues. I mean issues. Kelsey and Stephanie go above and beyond for their clients, I’ve used them twice for my business truck and both times my truck was ready sooner than expected and in compleate working condition. I wish I could give Kelsey more that just 5 stars. Over the weekend our van broke down in a parking lot. My oldest son went over to see if he could get it to start as he's much more mechanically inclined than I am. As they were looking at the van Kelsey drove up and asked if he could help out. My son and he began to talk and the two of them figured out it was the fuel pump or some component of it. Kelsey gave us the name of a tow company that was there in no time. Once the van was home my son was able to fix the problem in minutes. This could have easily been turned into a quick profit for someone trying to take advantage of the situation. I am glad Kelsey stopped by and offered to help out. I will not hesitate to take my vehicles to him in the future.
